Dr. Tow began his healthcare journey as a college student accepted into the University of Central Florida's Honors BS/MD program. After completing his bachelors with a 4.0 GPA in 3 years, Dr. Tow deferred medical school admission to attend Cornell University where he earned an MBA "with distinction." During his time at Cornell, Dr. Tow co-founded a biomedical robotics company focusing on regenerative medicine.
After several years in private industry, Dr. Tow became interested in dental medicine and decided to redirect his career toward clinical work, matriculating to the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Tow served on the College's Curriculum Committee for several years, founded the College's Emergency & Advanced Dentomedical Patient Management Practicum, and graduated with High Honors in research.
After graduation he was offered a courtesy faculty appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science.
Dr. Tow completed a residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NYC and served as part of the facial trauma team. As a resident, he received training in oral implantology, prosthetics, endodontics, orthodontics, medical anesthesia and emergency care. A life-long learner after residency, Dr. Tow has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education, as well.
Dr. Tow has published several scholarly articles in a variety of disciplines, holds pending and issued US Patents, and his clinical work in oral surgery was recently featured on the cover of a major dental publication. He is a licensed dentist in Florida and practices general dentistry and oral implantology.
